Cake Dec Class #3
This was our third class! We learned some decorating tips for cupcakes...although these don't look that great because the frosting started to melt...
We learned the hardway that when making buttercream frosting, if you use butter instead of shortening, use less water. Or just use shortening. -.- We had to borrow some confectioners sugar from one of our classmates to thicken the frosting and nearly ended up using half the box...
We also learned that this is harder to do than it looks. Trying to get the right pressure, smooth turning and steady hands is not so easy. But I'd say we did pretty good as beginners. :)
